The COVID-19 global pandemic has brought about many challenges and unknown impacts that are frightening and stressful for many of us. This is especially true for young people, who are experiencing for the first time mass school closures, social distancing, and a possible financial depression.
Our organization, Young Leaders for Change (a volunteer-led 501c3 nonprofit), is dedicated to engaging and empowering young people. While we are excited to get back to hosting face-to-face programs, we cannot overlook this important crisis, and we are committed to helping young people be informed and prepared to face the challenges ahead.
With that in mind, we have created this website to pool valuable resources and expert advice about money, finding jobs, staying on top of school, and adjusting to our new normal in one easy-to-find place. We hope that this site will be a useful reference for young people and provide them with the knowledge and tools to make the best out of this difficult situation.
Although we may be physically isolating ourselves from others, please remember that we are not alone and must work together more than ever before. If you find a resource or article that you find helpful, please pass it along to someone who might benefit from it. Finally, if you have questions, are seeking help, or otherwise just need someone to talk to - please feel free to contact us at our emails below.
Thank you and let’s thrive together,
